Joe Biden Just Claimed Obama Didn’t Have ‘A Hint of Scandal’ — But This List Shows Otherwise

On Wednesday morning, former Vice President Joe Biden went on “CBS This Morning” and made a bizarre claim about former President Barack Obama: He said he didn’t even have “a hint of scandal.”

The hosts asked him about the relationship he had with President Obama, and he responded by saying he has never known any president with so much “integrity.”

He stated:

“I’ve served with eight presidents, and I’ve gotten to know four of them very well. I’ve never met any president that has more character, more integrity and more backbone than this guy does. … And eight years, not a hint, not a hint of scandal.”

Well Mr. Biden, have I got a list for you. Here are some of the scandals that occurred under Obama’s watch:

Obama’s first secretary of state created a private email server. Hillary Clinton used the privately owned server instead of her government email during her four years under the Obama administration.

The ATF under Obama lost around 1,400 guns after it tried to track them to Mexican drug cartels. Two of the guns were found at the scene of the shooting of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) targeted conservative opponents during the application process to become tax exempt by putting them through intense scrutiny. Two hundred ninety-six applications from conservative nonprofit groups were flagged, including 75 that had “tea party” or “patriot” in their names.

Chris Stevens, the U.S. Ambassador to Libya, and three others were killed during a U.S. diplomatic attack. Initially, the Obama administration claimed the attack was not a terrorist attack but, instead, was triggered by a reaction to an anti-Muslim film. However, emails later revealed they knew it was a premeditated terror attack.

Over 40 U.S. veterans died because they were waiting to be seen by doctors at a Phoenix VA facility. According to a report, 1,700 veterans were forced to wait months to be seen.

“Not a hint, not a hint of scandal,” he said.

Adding to that list: Exonerating Clinton before the facts were in. Setting up a liberal slush fund. Papering over the Uranium One scandal. Using Democratic-sponsored Russian dirt on Trump. Companies whose CEOs visited the Obama White House for high-level meetings enjoyed superior stock returns over the following three months of about 0.9%. A VA system that failed horrifically despite Nobama’s knowledge of the failures. General Services Administration, resigned after the federal procurement agency was engulfed in a controversy. The department was accused of allowing excessive spending on travel and conferences for the agency and employees. The Energy Department provided a $535 million loan guarantee to the politically connected solar panel firm Solyndra as part of the 2009 stimulus bill. Not long after building its factory, the California firm filed for bankruptcy protection and an FBI investigation ensued. The company did not find a buyer and eventually closed down. Obama administration’s Department of Justice and Holder, then-attorney general, dropped the case against New Black Panther Party members standing outside the door of a polling place in Philadelphia in paramilitary outfits. One of the men was carrying a nightstick. The two men were caught on video seemingly intimidating voters. In 2010, Rep. Joe Sestak, who was challenging Sen. Arlen Specter in a Pennsylvania Democratic Senate primary, said that the Obama administration had offered him a job to dissuade him from entering the race, which is illegal. Need I continue?
