Sen. Booker Explodes on Sec. Nielsen for Trump’s Alleged Comments: ‘I Had Tears of Rage’

While Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen was testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) ripped into her for her answers regarding President Donald Trump’s alleged comments disparaging certain countries.

“I hurt,” he said. “When Dick Durbin called me, I had tears of rage when I heard about his experience in that meeting. And for you not to feel that hurt and that pain and to dismiss some of the questions of my colleagues, saying, ‘I’ve already answered that line of [questioning].’

“Tens of millions of Americans are hurting right now because of what they’re worried about what happened in the White House; that’s unacceptable to me,” he continued.

Booker said they are real threats, such as the death threats he and his fellow senators receive: “Kamala [Harris] receives enough death threats to know the reality. Mazie [Hirono] receives enough death threats to know the reality.”

He added it is unacceptable for Nielsen to not remember if Trump used profane words to describe those countries.

Interesting that he’s so concerned about what the words the President used about certain countries, but he DOESN’T display ANY concern about Obama’s comments about Christian legal citizens of this country; about his apology tours around the world, saying we’re not a Christian nation, about his silence about ISIS and his refusal to call them what they are– ISLAMIC TERRORISTS, etc., etc., etc. Interesting that he has so much to say against THIS president, but was SILENT about the one whose mission it was to DESTROY this country in order to bring in a Marxist Socialist, New World Order government!

    THAT, TOO, is complicity!
