Las Vegas Shooting Victim Has Shocking Words For the Media After Meeting Trump in the Hospital

On Sunday, a shooter opened fire on a country music festival from his 32nd-floor hotel room, killing 58 people and injuring 489 more. One of those injured was Tiffany Huizar, who is from Santa Anna, California. Huizar was shot in the stomach and was rushed to the hospital, where she had surgery the next morning to remove the bullet.

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania went room by room and talked with the victims of the deadly shooting. Huizar stated:

“He was super nice. He wasn’t who we see on social media. He was much more comforting. I don’t know his tone of voice and the way he was.”

Huizar’s family has posted a GoFundMe to raise money for her recovery. They wrote:

Tiffany is recovering from surgery & her injuries aren’t long term nor permanent. Her vitals are unstable due to the length of time the bullet was in her. There’s no way of knowing how long she will be in the hospital. They have insurance but since it’s out of network, they may not cover much. Family and friends, they need donations/help with Tiffany’s medical expenses, the family to have meals/drinks, hygiene etc and the costs for time off work/school for Ismael and The Huizar Family to stay as long as needed there.

Any donation amount is acceptable and helps! Tiffany is a beautiful 18 yr old & a senior at Segerstrom High School. She and her family are definitely facing a long road of recovery (physically, emotionally and mentally) ahead of them so PLEASE PLEASE help out and donate. I know they’ll be forever grateful & truly appreciate your help. God Bless you all #HuizarStrong.

You can donate to the GoFundMe here.

Huizar wasn’t the only one excited to meet the president in the hospital. Thomas Gunderson was shot in the leg on Sunday, but that wasn’t going to stop him from standing in respect for the president when he and the first lady entered his room.

Gunderson stated:

“I will never lie down when the President of this great country comes to shake my hand! There may be plenty of issues in this country but I will always respect my country, my president and my flag. Shot in the leg or not, I will stand to show my President the respect he deserves!”

Powerful.

We would not have seen Obama do this,…that’s for sure ! I have relatives that work in DC; and are in and out of the White House with their jobs. They both say that PRESIDENT Trump is a great President > BUT The Congress and the Senate needs to just LEAVE HIM ALONE AND LET HIM DO HIS JOB !! I’m so glad he has been to see the Shooting victims, and those affected by the hurricanes. Our PRESIDENT HAS FEELINGS for all of us ! RESPECT THE OFFICE. RESPECT OUR PRESIDENT !!! RESPECT OUR FLAG AND NATIONAL ANTHEM…OR GET OUT OF MY COUNTRY !!
